The temperature in the terraium

Bearded dragons come from a dry and hot climate. The best temperature in the terrarium is located between 30 ° C and 40 ° C degrees. The temperature must not fall below 18 ° C. Measure the temperature regularly so that you know that it is properly. You can use different kind of heat source, as heat spot lights with different volt. When there are insufficient heat spots present, one can also use other heat sources such as; heat stone, ceramic heat spots, heat mat and for a very temporary hot water jug. Please notice; heat rocks are less suitable for bearded dragons. They like to warm up, but often do not feel when it´s getting too hot and have a large chance that they burn theireselves.  

Cold and warm spot

It´s best to place a different heat spot on both sides of the terrarium, so you have a warm side and a cool side where they can hang out. In the cool area te temperature should be between 25 ° C and 29 ° C. Under the hottest spot it should not be more than 45 °C. Just make sure the Bearded dRagon cant climb against the lamp. (i.v.m. verbranding).
