Origin of the bearded dragon
The bearded dragon is originally from Australia and lives in a large part of Australia (endemic). They live there in half deserts and dry forests.
The bearded dragon is active during the day and rests at night under e.g. stones or in caves, where they are safe from enemies (e.g. birds and other animals).
The bearded dragon mainly lifs on the ground, but can also climb on rocks and in trees. Especially the younger animals can climb realy well. They are safer for their larger counterparts, which remain more at the bottom.
