Overfeeding

Overeting komt vaak voor bij volwassen baardagamen. Het is niet geheel onschuldig en moet  voorkomen worden door een gedoseerde voeding.Overeting is common in adult bearded dragons. It is not entirely innocent and should be prevented by regulated power supply. 

Symptoms:

Sometimes vomiting, diarrhea and listless. Tactile (sometimes visible) swelling by food mash that stuck in the gastrointestinal tract.

Cause:

Always too much power or too much food at once. Especially adult animals tend to overeat. They are very greedy and always seem hungry.

Treatment:

Care for a proper diet and avoid overeting! When the animals the food mash have vomited, knappen they often quickly. When the bearded Dragon Gets a bath can hide (see also constipation). When the animal does not quickly Refurbisher, go to the vet.
